The Founder, Pawan, thought it would be cool to set up a cookie brand in India since his undergrad days at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign; after experiencing throughout America, a standard of cookies incomparable to what was offered back home. The idea only came to fruition during the lockdown when, after a lot of trial and error, he was able to create what he considered the perfect cookie. After overwhelmingly positive feedback from friends and family, the first Dopamine store opened its doors in 2022; and has since gone on to achieve cult status in Hyderabad thanks to our kind patrons.

Pawan’s elder brother Kishore, an MBA from IIM-Calcutta, and a Mechanical Engineer from Georgia Tech, with multiple years of Business Strategy experience in MNCs, knows a great product when he sees one (or bites into one). So he had absolutely no hesitation in enthusiastically nodding his head, when asked to join his brother as a Co-Founder. He also fancies himself as a bit of a writer, but that's (quite literally) another story.

Together, they dream of establishing Dopamine as one of India’s favourite brands.
